After doing some rebranding with our logo we knew we needed to update our spec sheets to reflect that. We really wanted to find a way to liven up the current design, but allow it to fit across the Spillman product portfolio. We decided to flatten out the image container so it would work with all of our photography, and utilize the full palette of colors we had in our brand. This allowed us to make them more visually interesting while keeping the template consistent across the board. This allowed us to better manage the entire library of spec sheets, as well as make new ones quicker since the writers and designers all new what was needed and how it would turn out. This was my first experience making a templated design system, and having it utilized throughout the entire company, and helped become a skill I still use to this day.
